NAO; Important in the 02 stab by England on France.
F Nrg - Nao
F Lon - Eng
F Nth S F F Lon - Eng
Gives you a supported attack on Mid, and if you take Mid you will have a nice position against France. The Same is true the other way around. If France can convoy an armee in to Clyde you are in deap trouble as England.

NAO is also a possible place to put a fleet in the Iberian part off the big stalemate line:
F Nao S F Mid
F Eng S F Mid
F Mid S F Por and
F Por S F Mid.
No power from the south can force that position and the North is secured from foreign fleets.
