I read the rules of your variant. Due to the large amount of communication, sharing of ideas, and responsiblity I think this variant would appeal to women. (In the general case.) Some of the women I have played with felt very bad after a stab in diplomacy. In this variant they could share thier feelings and continue to play. But as they say in Minnesota - " I don't know?"
