The Rules for Ataxx
Object of the Game
The object of the game is to have the majority of your colour discs on the board at the end of the game.
A Minute To Learn
Black places two black discs and White places two white discs as shown in Figure 1. The game always begins with this setup, unless you choose a non-default gameboard by clicking the rightmouse-button!

A move consists of either a "growth" or a "jump". A growth is when you select one of your pieces and place a new piece in an empty adjacent space, including diagonally. A jump is when you select one of your pieces and move it to an empty space that is two position away. This includes diagonals and "knights moves". You can NOT move onto the blocked '#'-places!
Once placed, any opponents pieces that are adjacent to the new piece (either through growth or jump) are flipped the to the moving player's colour.

If you are unable to move on your turn, you are skipped. There is a chance that your opponent may be forced to make a move that will let you move again.
