Helgoland Bight

We first wonder why this waterspace is added to the map at all. When we think about it, we realize the Helgoland Bight prevents the German fleet from entering the North Sea at once. Somehow, Germany prefers entering NTH via DEN or HOL instead of HEL.

Helgoland Bight - Germany's inland sea. England has no business here.

An interesting point about Heligoland is that the German fleet in Kiel will always take a minimum of 2 turns to reach the North Sea, either via Den, Hel or Hol. By that time, Britannia usually rules the waves.

It does, however mean that an E convoy into the heart of Germany is made much more difficult, as what German Kaiser will allow the presence of the Royal Navy in Heligoland?
