Finally. I did enjoy the game though.

I agree that the deadlines were too long. That is one of the major reasons that I kinda lost interest as the game wore on..

I think that allowing proxies is a good Idea.

IMO, this was the biggest flaw in the game.

The 14 wasn't as bad as the 18. I think you should eliminate the solo win conditions all together.

I would like to observe a second game.

Although I didn't think there was anything wrong with the pairings as they were, I think using a random distribution would work, or even another set of pairs.

I do not see any reason to do this

I like this idea. It might even solve the NMR problem. You wouldn't be hosed by your partner missing the deadline, but if he really wanted to, he could order bogus moves for the units..

This is one of the fun things of this variant..

Yes, the game is winnable, I almost won solo with out trying to and if Turkey/Germany would have stuck with me one more season, I think that we could have won with Turkey.

Definitely--maybe just a little harder.

Allowing a move order to override a hold/support order may do something to help this..

Don't make an illegal support order, just move the unit that you think he/she will support with..
